We are supporting a specialist iGaming Consultancy that is partnering with operators, suppliers, and platform providers across regulated markets globally. The team delivers expert compliance, licensing, and technical advisory services that help clients launch and scale in complex jurisdictions. As we deepen our presence in the Nordic region, they are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Technical Compliance Specialist based in Finland to join our growing team.

The Role
As Technical Compliance Specialist, you will serve as their primary expert on the Finnish gambling regulatory landscape, supporting clients through technical certification, regulatory submissions, and ongoing compliance obligations. You will act as a bridge between our clients' technical teams and regulatory bodies, ensuring products meet all applicable standards under Finnish law as well as any forthcoming re-regulation developments.
This is a client-facing consultancy role — you will manage multiple engagements simultaneously, advising on everything from RNG certification and game mathematics to platform integration requirements and responsible gambling tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on technical compliance requirements for the Finnish market, including game certification, platform standards, and data localisation obligations
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments from Finnish authorities (e.g. the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Poliisihallitus) and assess technical impact on client products
  • Support clients through pre-launch technical audits and liaise with approved testing laboratories (e.g. BMM, GLI, NMi)
  • Review and analyse technical documentation including PAR sheets, RNG certificates, RTP declarations, and integration specifications
  • Provide gap analyses against Finnish regulatory requirements and draft remediation plans
  • Track the progress of Finland's potential gambling market re-regulation and advise clients on preparation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal legal and regulatory consultants to deliver holistic compliance solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with Finnish regulatory contacts and industry stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of internal knowledge bases, compliance frameworks, and client-facing guidance documents

Requirements
Essential
  • Demonstrable experience in technical compliance, game certification, or regulatory affairs within the iGaming industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Finnish gambling regulation.
  • Resident in Finland with full right to work; fluency in Finnish and English
  • Familiarity with technical standards relevant to online gambling (RNG testing, RTP, game math, platform security)
  • Experience working with or liaising with test laboratories and certification bodies
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate requirements for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects in parallel
Desirable
  • Experience in a B2B consultancy or professional services environment
  • Knowledge of other Nordic or EU regulated markets (Sweden, Estonia, Netherlands, etc.)
  • Familiarity with MGA, UKGC, or other major licensing frameworks
  • Background in software QA, platform integration, or iGaming technical operations

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote working within Finland, with occasional travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across operators, suppliers, and platform providers
  • A collaborative, expert team with deep iGaming regulatory knowledge
  • Opportunity to play a leading role in shaping our Nordic practice as the Finnish market evolves
