A highly regarded B2C iGaming business is looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance specialist to support the requirements of the DGOJ.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards in the Spanish market by researching and communicating regulatory requirements, creating action plans, and obtaining approvals from DGOJ and any other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in ensuring all Spanish regulatory requirements are met, delivering regulatory compliance initiatives effectively across the organisation.
  • Conduct regulatory research by monitoring updates from the regulator, the Spanish Government, and other relevant sources.
  • Develop and support regulatory policies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders while incorporating emerging trends and market-specific developments.
  • Propose the strategic approach for Spanish regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with the company's wider compliance objectives.
  • Liaise with the DGOJ, the Spanish Police Authority, and other relevant bodies to promote the company's interests.
  • Perform risk assessments and internal audits relating to legal and regulatory compliance across operational, technical, and support processes applicable to Spain.
  • Prepare reports on Spanish regulatory requirements and associated action plans.
  • Draft formal responses to enquiries and investigations conducted by Spanish authorities.
  • Coordinate compliance audits carried out by the DGOJ and other regulatory authorities.
  • Promote a culture of compliance throughout the business by delivering training and supporting awareness initiatives.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, or a related field. An academic background in Law is preferred.
  • 3–7 years' relevant experience within the iGaming industry, with strong knowledge of the Spanish regulated market.
  • Experience managing regulatory requirements and liaising with regulatory authorities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A technology-focused mindset and a passion for innovation within the industry.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A business-oriented approach, with the ability to assess regulatory risk in a commercial context and drive compliant outcomes rather than simply identifying issues.

We are supporting a recognised iGaming business to source an immediately available Compliance Consultant to support product launch. This is for an initial three months but could become permanent.  Malta based. You will be tasked with all Compliance matters, predominately certification of the product so a blend of Product, Regulatory and Technical compliance are essential. You will be expected, where necessary to liaise with the Regulators of the Denmark and Finland. What good looks like Product teams understand what can and cannot be shipped before build and before release. Certification and evidence gaps are visible early, owned by the right teams and tracked to closure. Licence applications are complete, internally consistent and regulator-ready. Internal controls are practical, proportionate and adopted by the teams that need to use them. Launch readiness is tracked through clear gates, with unresolved risks visible to leadership. You will be able to work via a consulting contract and have processes set up already to do so.

As they continue to build out their Customer Risk Operations capability, they're looking for an experienced Responsible Gaming Team Manager to lead their RG operations function from their Malta office. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to be part of shaping a function from the ground up — leading a team of up to 12 while staying close to the case work, the process design, and the day-to-day decisions that protect customers and the business. The Role Reporting to the Head of Customer Risk & Governance, you'll lead the day-to-day Responsible Gaming Operations function, ensuring customers are identified, supported and protected through effective interactions that meet regulatory obligations, company policy and good practice. You'll drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, and provide meaningful insight into how well RG controls are working — all while staying actively involved in investigations, operational decisions and process design as the function matures. What You'll Be Doing Building and continuously improving RG processes, operational controls and ways of working Overseeing timely, high-quality handling of RG cases, including affordability, vulnerability and behavioural assessments Escalating and resolving complex or high-risk cases, and ensuring consistent application of RG controls Monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs and quality standards, and driving corrective action where needed Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to reduce manual effort Leading workforce planning, resourcing and scheduling across the team Recruiting, coaching and developing a team of up to 12 Responsible Gaming Analysts Supporting regulatory audits, internal reviews, and the rollout of new regulatory requirements, products and markets Partnering closely with MLRO, Compliance, Legal, AML, Fraud, Payments, Product and Data Analytics teams What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience within Responsible Gaming, AML, Fraud, Customer Risk or a similar operational environment Strong knowledge of Responsible Gaming principles and regulatory expectations Experience managing customer interaction teams, with a track record of coaching and developing operational staff Experience assessing customer affordability, vulnerability and gaming behaviour, and making protection decisions using a risk-based approach Experience implementing operational processes within a regulated environment Strong stakeholder management, and confident written and verbal communication Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions under pressure Nice to have: a formal leadership qualification, Responsible Gaming certifications, and prior experience in online gaming or financial services.
