Reconciliation Manager – Malta

Hybrid - Full Time

Im supporting an iGaming company looking for an experienced Reconciliation Manager to lead a team responsible for daily and month-end reconciliation of PSP transactions and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily and month-end reconciliations across PSPs, banks and internal systems.
  • Investigate transaction, settlement, timing and balance discrepancies through to resolution.
  • Monitor PSP settlements and work closely with Treasury on missing or delayed payments.
  • Ensure fees, accruals, adjustments and reconciling items are accurately reflected in month-end accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes
  • Work with Technology on reporting, tools and automation, with SQL/scripting knowledge being advantageous.
  • Manage, mentor and develop the reconciliation team

Requirements

  • Experience in PSP/payment provider reconciliation
  • Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Data Science, or part-qualified ACCA/ACA.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders
  • Proven experience managing, coaching and developing a team.

You'll be responsible for carrying out KYC, due diligence, and compliance checks on business partners, ensuring all onboarding processes meet regulatory and internal compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct KYC and due diligence on new and existing partners. Complete risk assessments and recommend approvals or escalations. Manage onboarding documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. Monitor compliance with AML, CTF, FATCA, OFAC, and gaming regulations. Identify and escalate suspicious activity where required. Support compliance reporting, audits, and policy updates. Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, and external stakeholders. Deliver compliance guidance and training to internal teams.
