Onboarding Compliance (Underwriting) Specialist

Location: On-site (Hybrid after 6 months) | Type: Full-time

Overview
My iGaming client is looking for an Onboarding Compliance (Underwriting) Specialist to join its Legal team. You'll be responsible for carrying out KYC, due diligence, and compliance checks on business partners, ensuring all onboarding processes meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct KYC and due diligence on new and existing partners.
  • Complete risk assessments and recommend approvals or escalations.
  • Manage onboarding documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor compliance with AML, CTF, FATCA, OFAC, and gaming regulations.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious activity where required.
  • Support compliance reporting, audits, and policy updates.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver compliance guidance and training to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in Compliance, KYC, Underwriting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of AML and financial crime regulations.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with compliance and risk management systems.
