A very successful B2B provider of iGaming technology is continuing to grow organically and looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel.  Based in either London or Malta with hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity for either someone in the iGaming sector whom is looking for growth, or a Technical experienced Lawyer looking to move to a truly agile business. Duties will include;   The role will primarily involve the drafting and negotiation of key commercial contracts with our customers and suppliers but can also extend into areas such as IP, data protection, corporate, employment and dispute resolution, depending on the nature of the successful candidate’s experience and interests. The role will also involve developing and supporting more junior members of the team. Ideally you’ll have: 5+ years PQE A wealth of experience of complex commercial transactions, preferably with direct engagement with in-house stakeholders in the provision of strategic advice; negotiation experience in relation to the same Experience in other key areas, such as IP, corporate and/or dispute Excellent academics and private practice training; in-house experience (including via secondments) preferred Ability to analyse commercial or corporate issues, provide succinct solutions and to present those solutions in an appropriate manner for stakeholders Confidence in analysing and providing advice on areas of law falling outside of formal experience (e.g. employment or alternate jurisdictions) through the application of generic commercial law principles An excellent salary is on offer with a good range of benefits. 

A successful, regulated iGaming business is looking to hire a Data Protection Officer on a part time basis ( Two Days Per Week). The role will be Malta-remote working and report to the CEO. Duties will include; Covering the GDPR requirements for the business and overseeing the requirements pertaining to the MGA and NZ Privacy Act (IPPs) Liaising with Maltese IDPC Office of the Privacy Commissioner of the New Zealand OPC MGA and NZ Licensing teams Regular updates and reports will be required by the Board. A global iGaming business is growing and looking to hire an experienced Legal Counsel to work out of beautiful offices on Malta on a hybrid working basis. The role will be varied and include; Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including technology, data rights, media and advertising, brand licensing & partnerships and software licensing & development contracts. Monitoring legal & regulatory developments affecting the International Business, advising stakeholders of such developments and supporting the delivery of any resulting operational change. Support with market launches and licence applications, both in Malta and internationally. Advising stakeholders on marketing and advertising compliance and the launch of new products. Providing legal advice on a wide range of legal matters. Serving as a key subject matter expert and strategic advisor to the International Business in relation to legal obligations. Working across the business to ensure joined-up thinking with group functions/stakeholders including IP, Disputes, Privacy, Compliance, CoSec, Tax, Finance and Business Development. Providing legal training to parts of the business where required and contributing to developing the team’s know-how and precedent bank. Requirements: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in relation to a broad range of commercial contracts. Good understanding of gaming laws and regulations. Strong knowledge of commercial law. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to clearly explain complex principles in simple plain language. Demonstrate excellent commercial acumen and commercial awareness. Demonstrate an understanding of commercial realities/priorities of the business and able to give balanced views on risk, adapting approach for the “bigger picture” where necessary. Using comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently (with occasional guidance). Ability to be able to manage ambiguity and operate effectively even when a scenario is not certain or clear.
