Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: UAE | Remote Payment Genes are starting an ambitious start-up - a digital-first SME bank combining AI, Web3, and modular banking technology to redefine financial services. The platform will automate onboarding, payments, credit decisioning, and cashflow insights — with plans for stablecoins, tokenised assets, and programmable finance. The Role We are seeking a hands-on CTO to define and lead the technology strategy, build a high-performing engineering team, and scale a next-generation AI/Web3 platform. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the platform’s architecture, ensure security and performance, and drive innovation from day one. You Have 10+ years in senior technology leadership (Fintech, payments, or crypto experience a plus) Proven experience scaling platforms and leading engineering teams Deep knowledge of AI and Web3 technologies Strong software architecture, system design, and cybersecurity expertise Ability to translate technical strategy for non-technical stakeholders
