We are looking for an Azure & DevOps Cloud Engineer to help manage and enhance our client's Microsoft Azure platform across development, staging, and production environments. Working closely with their engineering teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, reliable, and easy to deploy.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys infrastructure engineering, automation, continuous improvement, and collaborating with developers to deliver software efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Ensure the cloud platform remains highly available, scalable, reliable, and performs efficiently.
  • Administer core Azure services, including App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, networking, and identity management.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Monitor platform health by maintaining logging, alerting, and observability through Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and related Azure services.
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and performance-related issues.
  • Apply Azure security best practices, including RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, secrets management, and network security controls.
  • Configure and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and routing.
  • Continuously review cloud usage to improve cost efficiency, resource utilisation, and overall platform performance.
  • Participate in incident management, root cause investigations, and the implementation of preventative improvements.
  • Keep the Azure environment aligned with current best practices by adopting platform enhancements, security updates, and new Azure capabilities where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure in a Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps position.
  • Proven experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Azure-based infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Identity services.
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and routing.
  • Experience monitoring production environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving platform performance.
  • Good understanding of cloud security, including identity and access management, secure networking, and secrets management.
  • Experience supporting live production systems and responding to technical incidents.

The Responsible Gaming Analyst is responsible for identifying and assessing customers who may be at risk of gambling-related harm, determining appropriate protections and monitoring outcomes.
