About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a newly established engineering team responsible for developing the next generation of backend services supporting trading, risk, and core platform capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical direction from the beginning, working on both new product development and the evolution of existing enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to design solutions that are scalable, resilient, and built for high-volume production environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET. Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large volumes of real-time data. Experience building REST APIs and familiarity with gRPC or WebSocket communication. Knowledge of Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS experience is also valuable). Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry. Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
