The Payments & Fraud Analyst plays a key role within the Compliance function, serving as the central link between Payments Operations and Fraud Operations. This role is responsible for monitoring transaction activity, managing escalations, producing ongoing reporting, and supporting fraud mitigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce recurring reports covering payment activity, risk indicators, and operational trends.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and compliance needs.
  • Identify, escalate, and document concerning activity to internal teams.
  • Track, review, and document payment-related transactions and workflows.
  • Support the creation, documentation, and maintenance of payment processes and SOPs.
  • Review and process player transactions.
  • Investigate payment-related issues and coordinate resolutions.
  • Generate reports on identified fraudulent activity.
  • Request, review, and verify documents related to fraud or KYC.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years in payments, fraud operations, compliance, risk, or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of payment methods and fraud patterns.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in iGaming, sportsbook, fintech, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with AML frameworks and regulatory processes.
  • Experience producing management or regulatory reports.
  • Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience collaborating with Payments, Fraud, AML, Compliance.
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work in payments, fraud detection, and regulatory spaces.
