Job Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Legal Manager to join a diverse and fast-growing online casino operator active in regulated markets including the Netherlands

The ideal candidate will focus primarily on commercial contracts and provide broad legal support across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including but not limited to software licensing agreements, corporate and finance agreements, marketing agreements, and other vendor contracts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes to guide and safeguard the company's compliance and interests.
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice on contractual matters to internal stakeholders, interpreting complex legal frameworks and business needs to enable strategic decision-making in a fast-paced gaming environment.
  • Mitigate legal risks and guide various stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies
  • Handle ad-hoc legal matters across the business, including employment law, data privacy and intellectual property.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Support the Director of Legal on wider legal projects as needed including improving contract management tools.
  • Liaise with internal teams to deliver solutions quickly and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing lawyer, with at least 3 years specifically within the gaming.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Intellectual Property (IP) law, particularly as it applies to software, content, and brands.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Dutch legal system, demonstrable in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Dutch employment law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and advisory skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
