Overview:
A leading iGaming business is looking for an experienced and results-driven Risk Management professional with a strong background in building and optimizing enterprise-wide risk frameworks within the iGaming sector to join the team!
Key Areas of Expertise:
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
- Design, implement, and continuously improve risk management frameworks tailored to the unique needs of online gaming platforms, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with global iGaming regulations, licensing conditions, AML directives, and Responsible Gambling standards across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulatory landscapes.
- Fraud Detection & Prevention:
- Lead development and execution of advanced fraud strategies to mitigate bonus abuse, multi-accounting, payment fraud (e.g., chargebacks, stolen payment methods), and collusion.
- Player Risk Profiling:
- Create and apply data-driven models to monitor betting patterns, identify potential problem gambling behaviors, and deploy responsible gaming tools (e.g., deposit limits, self-exclusion, real-time alerts).
- Internal Audits & Investigations:
- Conduct thorough internal audits and investigations into suspicious activity or incidents. Provide timely resolution and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments including Compliance, Payments, Marketing, Customer Support, and Product to align risk strategies with broader business objectives. Mentor and support risk team members to foster a culture of risk awareness.
- Risk Reporting:
- Deliver clear and timely reporting on risk exposures, mitigation plans, and forecasts to executive leadership and relevant committees. Support compliance with external audit and regulatory requirements.
- Technology Integration:
- Optimize and implement advanced risk management tools and platforms
Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of iGaming environments
- Strong command of AML, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity standards
- Proficiency in risk management software, analytics tools, and reporting systems
- Excellent crisis management and business continuity planning skills
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Fluent in English and Armenian; Russian is an advantage
