Our client is a rapidly growing FinTech organization, recognized as one of the top 15 European Fintechs to work. It provides a variety of services, including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.
As a Country Manager, you will have the responsibility of overseeing all operations within the country. The role will focus on ensuring the growth and success of the services related to payments and collections, business lending, and FX risk management. The incumbent will be tasked with swiftly hiring and managing a team of sales professionals, establishing sales objectives, implementing sales programs, and enhancing sales performance through training, management, and development of team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Country Manager, you will have the responsibility of overseeing all operations within the country. The role will focus on ensuring the growth and success of the services related to payments and collections, business lending, and FX risk management. The incumbent will be tasked with swiftly hiring and managing a team of sales professionals, establishing sales objectives, implementing sales programs, and enhancing sales performance through training, management, and development of team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets sales objectives and develops annual sales quotas for the region, accurately forecasting expected sales volume.
- Rolls out regional sales programs, including sales action and training plans.
- Implements and ensures compliance with company-wide sales methodology and sales administration processes.
- Leads and oversees the Sales department, managing support staff through recruitment, selection, orientation, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as necessary. Monitors job performance against quotas and other metrics.
- Collaborates closely with Marketing, Corporate Development, and Product teams to ensure effective communication of product messages and provides feedback for product positioning and development.
- Stays updated with professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team efforts by achieving specific results as required.
- Recruits as rapidly as needed to meet demand in the region.
- More than five years of hands-on experience in the Fintech industry, encompassing various roles and responsibilities.
- Extensive expertise in foreign exchange (FX), including comprehensive understanding and practical application of FX principles and practices.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Spanish and English, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across multicultural environments.
- Willingness and ability to relocate and reside in Chile.
- Proven track record of successfully initiating and establishing operations from inception, showcasing strategic planning and execution skills.
- Background in effectively overseeing all facets of a Fintech enterprise, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated capability in managing teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, contributing to organizational success through effective leadership and mentorship.
