A set of industry veterans are about to launch a new product via the UKGC license. You will be required to look after the finance function and work in a collegiate environment. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process setup and operational responsibility for gaming system balances e.g. gross gaming revenue, bonuses and promotions, customer deposits, deposits and withdrawals, etc.
  • Process setup and operational responsibility for third party relationships balances e.g. content providers, data feeds, platform fees, payments services providers, etc.
  • Process setup and operational responsibility for regulatory and licence filings e.g. annual returns, annual financial statements, UKGC quarterly returns, gaming duty and related levies, etc.
  • Ownership of payroll, including associated filings and payments.
  • Daily and longer-term treasury management e.g. safeguarding vs operational funds, management of funding flows to and from payments services providers, entity level and group cash flow monitoring and management.
  • Full P&L ownership, including accounts close and production of monthly management accounts.
  • Forecasting and planning activities, including the identification and monitoring of key KPI’s, periodic review of performance, forecasting and re-forecasting, etc.
  • Ownership of Finance policies for the business.
  • Undertaking other ad hoc tasks and duties as the need requires.



Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, preferably with 2+ years PQE.
  • Experience working in an operational finance department, preferably within online gambling, a related sector, or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong financial control and process implementation and improvement experience.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting requirements under IFRS.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • An eye for detail and excellent organisational and communication skills.

Manage and perform audit compliance reviews, overseeing the GLI-33 – GLI-19 gaming certification program. Oversee and guide the Change Management process, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to compliance standards. Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization, emphasizing the importance of compliance and risk management. Leverage industry expertise to provide strategic support to operators for market entry and ongoing operations. Work closely with other business leads to integrate necessary regulatory checkpoints in their processes and procedures. Diligently maintain and update compliance records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and current information. Your skills and experience: Solid understanding of the iGaming industry, including knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. At least 5+ years of combined product compliance and technical experience in the online gambling industry. Familiarity with technical aspects of iGaming platforms, including gaming software, RNG, player verification, responsible gaming features and bonus campaigns. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical compliance solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage compliance processes and documentation. Previous experience in iGaming and Sports Betting in the US and/or Canada is a plus. Fluency in written and verbal English.
