Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Regulatory Compliance Support – All Markets:

  • Monitor regulatory developments and help assess their impact on operations in assigned markets.
  • Assist with interpreting requirements and updating policies, procedures and internal guidance with the relevant Compliance Officer.
  • Support compliance reviews of customer journeys, products, promotions and terms and conditions against applicable market requirements.
  • Assist with gap analyses for existing and new markets, recording findings and tracking agreed actions.

 

Market Compliance and Operational Support:

  • Support day-to-day compliance activities in assigned markets, including Italy, and follow up on queries with relevant internal teams.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and track regulatory reporting, license obligations, submissions and renewal deadlines.
  • Assist with gathering and checking information for regulatory reports, coordinating discrepancies with the responsible teams.
  • Support reviews of registration, verification, payments, safer gambling and self-exclusion processes with Compliance, AML and operational teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory correspondence, compliance decisions, approvals and supporting evidence.

 

Coordination with Global Technical Compliance:

  • Work alongside Global Technical Compliance to understand market requirements, system functionality and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Help document business and compliance requirements and coordinate follow-up with Product, Development and QA.
  • Support compliance checks for system changes by gathering evidence, reviewing customer journeys and following up on identified issues.
  • Assist Global Technical Compliance with audit and certification preparation, including document collection and tracking outstanding actions.
  • Build practical knowledge of regulatory systems through joint reviews and documented procedures, supporting continuity of compliance activities across markets.

 

Reporting and Governance:

  • Prepare compliance updates and management information on assigned markets, outstanding actions and emerging risks.
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating evidence requests and following up on findings.
  • Identify practical improvements to compliance procedures, record keeping and coordination across markets.

 

Person Specifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in regulatory compliance or a related role within regulated online gambling.
  • Practical knowledge of Italian ADM.
  • Familiarity with FI, IT, GR requirements and experience supporting compliance in other regulated markets are advantages.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, review operational processes and maintain clear, accurate compliance documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience tracking actions and deadlines using Jira or similar tools.
  • Fluent English and Italian, written and spoken.

Finance Executive Location - Malta Onsite Salary - EUR 28- 35K (DOE)   As a Finance Executive (in an iGaming business), you will play a central role in the business's finance function. Reporting to the CFO and support day-to-day finance and accounting operations.   This role requires a high degree of ownership, initiative, and self-management. You will be expected to manage assigned processes end-to-end, proactively driving actions and deadlines, following up as required, and keeping relevant stakeholders informed—without the need for ongoing supervision.   Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in Xero Managing and maintaining the company’s invoice management system and related processes Managing company card expenses Preparing monthly bank statements and finance reports for the CFO and external accountants. Coordinating monthly payroll with the external payroll provider Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and handling accountants’ and auditors’ queries, including year-end audit requests. Coordinating with corporate service providers Building and maintaining a structured archive of company information and documentation, ensuring records are complete, up to date, and easily accessible. Assisting with KYC and due diligence (DD) processes, including gathering, organising, maintaining, and following up on supporting documentation. Coordinating official corporate documentation and processes, such as board resolutions, meeting minutes (including AGM minutes), powers of attorney, company registry filings and notary appointments, including arranging the required signatures. Is a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, follows processes through to completion, and proactively follows up to ensure deadlines are met. Is highly organised, structured, and detail-oriented. Has strong coordination skills and is confident dealing with corporate service providers and other external stakeholders.
