My client is a fast moving startup building next generation technology for the sports betting industry. What You’ll Do
  • Lead backend development across core data and product systems.
  • Build real time data pipelines and high performance backend services.
  • Develop and improve algorithms, APIs, and data normalization workflows.
  • Enhance critical systems powering order flow, customer insights, and operations.
  • Automate manual processes to improve efficiency across teams.

What They’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of backend engineering or data focused software development.
  • Strong Python background; experience with APIs, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, or similar systems.
  • Hands on experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB), Redis, and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to dashboarding/visualization tools (Looker, Grafana, etc.).
  • Experience in sports betting, iGaming, or financial markets is a plus.
  • Proactive, independent, and comfortable in a fast paced startup environment.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead an organic social media function from the ground up shaping strategy, setting the vision, and owning day to day operations across multiple platforms. The Role As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the full social media strategy for a growing portfolio of sports betting and online casino assets. You’ll combine big picture creativity with hands on execution posting, engaging, testing new formats, and driving consistent visibility around key sporting moments. You’ll play a central role in building loyal communities, amplifying campaigns, supporting commercial initiatives, and laying the foundation for influencer and community driven programs. The ideal candidate brings strong platform expertise, a deep understanding of regulated gambling environments, and proven experience scaling social channels. Key Responsibilities Social Media Ownership Develop social strategies and platform specific plans in collaboration with Marketing and Business stakeholders. Run daily organic social activity across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals. Optimize posting, testing, and content approaches to drive traffic, authority, and engagement. Community Building & Engagement Build and nurture an active sports and gaming community across all major channels. Drive meaningful engagement and encourage user generated content. Lead by example and contribute positively to team culture. What You’ll Bring 4+ years of social media management experience, with proven success growing and owning channels. Hands on expertise in posting, community management, analytics, and content optimization. Experience leading or guiding junior staff or freelancers (preferred). Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. Understanding of compliance in regulated industries gambling/sports betting experience highly desirable. Knowledge of the North American betting and casino market is a strong plus. Willingness to work flexible hours around major sporting events (evenings/weekends). Experience with influencer or branded content partnerships (a plus). Location Requirements This role is hybrid in Miami, with 3 days per week onsite.
