The Role
My client is seeking a Mid/Senior .NET Developer to join their backend engineering team. This role focuses on building and enhancing the core services that support real time trading, risk management, and platform functionality.
This is a hands on Mid/senior role offering a high degree of ownership and influence. You will contribute to architectural decisions, solve open ended technical challenges, and help drive improvements across engineering practices, not just deliver pre-defined tasks.
You will play an active role across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through to deployment, optimization, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high performance backend systems using Microsoft .NET
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Participate in all stages of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
- Build and maintain cloud native infrastructure, including containerized workloads and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate with:
- Message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ)
- Caching technologies (e.g. Redis)
- Relational databases
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and monitor system performance using logs, metrics, and dashboards
- Diagnose and resolve production issues in a real time, high availability environment
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and uptime
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid level engineers
- Collaborate closely with product, QA, and other engineering teams
- Stay up to date with emerging backend, cloud, and distributed systems technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail

- Experience delivering and supporting production systems end to end

- 5+ years of commercial experience with Microsoft .NET
- Strong experience designing and developing scalable, distributed systems
- Hands on experience with message driven architectures (RabbitMQ or similar)
- Solid experience with Redis
- Practical experience using Kubernetes in production environments
- Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred, AWS also considered)
- Experience with automated testing and modern development practices
- Experience with gRPC, WebSockets, or Server Sent Events (SSE)
- Exposure to observability tools such as OpenTelemetry
- Frontend exposure using React and TypeScript
- Work on largescale, real time systems with global reach
- Solve complex technical challenges in a performance critical environment

The Role
My client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and commercially driven TCG Card Buyer to lead sourcing and procurement across key collectible categories. Initially focused on Pokémon (English & Japanese), this role will evolve to include Sports Cards (NBA/NFL) and emerging TCG segments such as One Piece. This is a high-impact position requiring strong market awareness, authentication expertise, and the ability to consistently source high-value inventory at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement
Source and purchase Pokémon cards with an initial focus on English editions, followed by Japanese inventory.
Identify and leverage multiple acquisition channels including marketplaces (eBay, TCGPlayer), card shows, private collectors, and dealer networks.
Build profitable pipelines by targeting PSA-gradeable raw cards and high-grade inventory (PSA 9/10).
