About the Role
Looking for an experienced and commercially minded Media Team Lead to join a growing media function. This is a key leadership position, responsible for managing and developing a team of Media Buyers while driving performance, strengthening partner relationships, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will combine strong people leadership with analytical and commercial expertise, using data and market insight to maximise the performance of key media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop a team of Media Buyers within a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external media partners and channels.
- Use performance data and market insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Set clear objectives and motivate the team to achieve and exceed monthly spend and revenue targets.
- Monitor team and channel performance, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to improve efficiency, productivity, and commercial outcomes.
- Encourage a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years' experience in media buying, with a strong understanding of industry trends, performance marketing, and best practices.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or team leadership position, with demonstrated success in motivating and developing others.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A degree or relevant qualification in marketing, technology, business, or a related field is desirable but not essential where equivalent professional experience can be demonstrated.
