Client Accounting Team Leader

My Client, a growing Corporate Service Provider, is on the lookout for a finance professional to join the team.

The Team Leader will manage a client portfolio while supervising and supporting junior accountants within the Client Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review client accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements
  • Oversee audit processes and ensure all statutory deadlines are met
  • Review work completed by others and assist with technical accounting queries
  • Hold regular team meetings and monitor workload and progress
  • Liaise with management, auditors, and other departments
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with regulations
  • Support training, performance reviews, and best practices within the team
  • Contribute to client meetings and assist in securing new business

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant
  • At least 2 years’ senior experience in client accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAGE
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently and in a team
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and professional with confidential data

In-House Counsel (Legal & Compliance) Hybrid - Full Time Location - Romania or Malta  This role provides end-to-end legal and compliance support across a multinational iGaming group. Reporting to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, the role acts as a key legal advisor to internal teams. Key responsibilities: Legal support: Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, operational, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts  Support corporate governance, internal structuring, and legal documentation. Advise on areas such as gaming law, AML/CFT, data protection, IP, tax, IT, employment, and commercial law. Manage intellectual property (e.g., trademarks and enforcement actions). Conduct legal research and track regulatory changes across jurisdictions. Compliance support: Advise on compliance matters including gaming, AML/CFT, consumer protection, and competition law. Help develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and risk registers. Manage licensing, certifications, audits, and regulatory submissions across jurisdictions. Monitor regulatory changes and support remediation actions. Contribute to training and compliance awareness across the business. Requirements: At least 5 years’ in-house legal experience, ideally in iGaming (B2B preferred) or a regulated industry. Strong expertise in gaming, commercial, corporate, employment, IT, AML/CFT, and IP law. Skilled in contract negotiation and handling regulatory/audit processes. Strong English communication skills and proficiency with tools like Jira, Google Suite, MS Office, and AI tools. Detail-oriented, proactive, business-focused, and willing to travel occasionally.
