We are partnering with a high-growth digital gaming business to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead and scale a newly established sweepstakes operation. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a fast-moving, venture-backed business unit, with responsibility for strategy, execution, and commercial performance. The role combines entrepreneurial leadership with operational rigour, balancing rapid growth with long-term profitability in an evolving regulatory environment.
The Role
- Own the full P&L, delivering against revenue, margin, and growth objectives
- Define and execute the overall business strategy, including product roadmap, go-to-market approach, and market positioning
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team across product, marketing, engineering, and operations
- Drive player acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetisation strategies, optimising key metrics such as LTV, MAU, and GMV
- Establish scalable operational processes and infrastructure to support growth
- Ensure full compliance with sweepstakes regulations across all operating markets
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with platforms, affiliates, game suppliers, and third-party vendors
- Provide clear reporting and insight on business performance, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders
- Balance short-term revenue delivery with long-term value creation and sustainable growth
Candidate Profile
- Strategic leadership with the ability to translate vision into execution
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L ownership and unit economics
- Deep understanding of player behaviour, engagement loops, and monetisation strategies
- Experience building scalable, data-driven operations
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks within sweepstakes or adjacent gaming models
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams
Experience Required
- 5–10+ years of hands on leadership experience within iGaming, social casino, mobile games or sweepstakes.
- Track record of building and scaling consumer-facing digital products or business units
- Strong background in player acquisition, retention, and monetisation strategies
- Experience with social casino, mobile gaming, or real-money adjacent models
- Familiarity with virtual economies, in-game currencies, and live operations
- Experience managing platform relationships (e.g. app stores), vendors, and partners
- Comfortable operating in high-growth, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environments
