Pentasia is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help expand its North American client base across the iGaming, sports betting, lottery, social gaming and digital gaming sectors. This is a new-business focused role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building senior relationships and converting market opportunity into long-term client partnerships.

The Opportunity

This role will be based in Pentasia’s Orlando office and will play a key part in building our commercial presence across the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, targeting and winning new client relationships across the North American iGaming ecosystem.
The role is entirely focused on new-logo acquisition, consultative selling and long-term relationship development. You will work closely with the leadership team, recruitment delivery teams and the wider Group commercial function to convert opportunities across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, target and win new clients across the US iGaming, sports betting, lottery, sweepstakes and digital gaming markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers, decision-makers and strategic accounts.
  • Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, market mapping and conference networking.
  • Secure qualified meetings with senior stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, HR, Operations, Product, Technology, Finance and Executive leadership.
  • Develop account plans and target lists focused on operators, suppliers, platforms, studios, payments businesses and adjacent gaming technology companies.

Consultative Sales

  • Sell Pentasia’s full service portfolio, including: Executive Search, Contingent Recruitment, RPO, Project Recruitment Solutions and Augmented Teams.
  • Understand client hiring challenges, growth plans, market-entry requirements and talent constraints.
  • Position the most appropriate solution based on client need, urgency, hiring volume, seniority and scope.
  • Create commercially strong proposals and support contract negotiation where required.
  • Identify opportunities to expand single-role recruitment conversations into broader workforce or enterprise solutions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with founders, executives, commercial leaders, HR leaders and talent acquisition teams.
  • Represent Pentasia professionally at conferences, trade shows, industry events and client meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with prospects and clients to nurture future opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence, client feedback and commercial insight to internal leadership.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and clear handover of live roles or projects.
  • Collaborate with the wider Conexus Group commercial team to identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Share insight on target accounts, market movement, competitive activity and emerging client demand.
  • Support the development of a scalable North American commercial engine for Pentasia.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in business development across B2B sales, recruitment sales, staffing, workforce solutions or in Gaming & Betting.
  • Demonstrable track record of generating new business revenue.
  • Strong prospecting, pipeline management and meeting generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building ability.
  • Commercially sharp, resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working to targets.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular office presence in Orlando 3 days per week.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in recruitment, executive search, RPO, staffing, consulting, talent solutions or iGaming sales.
  • Experience selling into clients in iGaming, sports betting, lottery, sweepstakes, fintech, SaaS, technology, sports or digital entertainment markets preferred.
  • Existing network within the North American gaming or betting industry highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience attending conferences, networking events and trade shows as part of a sales remit.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will sit at the centre of commercial decision-making, helping shape product strategy, player growth, retention, payments performance, profitability, and overall business success. This is far more than a reporting function. The successful candidate will use data to influence strategic decisions, challenge assumptions, identify growth opportunities, and provide leadership with the insights needed to scale a profitable and sustainable gaming business. Key Responsibilities Commercial & Player Analytics Own and optimise key business metrics including LTV, ROAS, retention, profitability, player value and cohort performance.
