Quality Assurance Engineer.

I am looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a new media technology business and work remotely from Europe. 

Job Description:

We're looking for a highly proficient Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Development team.  As a QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in testing methodologies and tools will be essential in identifying and resolving issues to deliver top-notch user experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to ensure software quality
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies
3. Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and backend systems
4. Identify, document, and track bugs and work closely with developers to resolve them
5. Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide input from a QA perspective

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in PHP and Python
2. Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools
3. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
4. Familiarity with version control systems like Git
5. Ability to analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Extra/Plus:

1. Experience with performance and security testing
2. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
3. Experience with project management methodologies and tools

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
2. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
