My client are seeking a highly motivated and skilled capital raise expert with a very strong investor network to join their dynamic team on a consultancy basis in the fast-paced fantasy sportsbook industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing funding opportunities to support the growth and expansion of their fantasy sportsbook & sweepstakes operations. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, persuasive communication skills, and a deep understanding of the gaming and betting industry.

- Research and identify potential funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, angel investors, and other financial institutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential investors and financial partners.
- Prepare compelling pitch decks, business plans, and financial models to attract investment.
Strategic Planning and Analysis:
- Analyze market trends and financial data to inform funding strategies.
- Collaborate with the management team to align funding efforts with the company's strategic objectives.
- Assess the financial viability and potential ROI of new projects and initiatives.
Negotiation and Deal Structuring:
- Lead negotiations with investors and partners to secure favourable terms and conditions for funding.
- Structure deals in a way that balances investor expectations with company growth and stability.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in the gaming and betting industry.
Relationship Management and Reporting:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on funding status, investments, and returns.
- Manage investor communications and organize meetings, presentations, and events.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build connections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, investment banking, venture capital, or a related field, preferably in the gaming, sports betting, or fantasy sports industry.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully securing funding and managing investor relationships.
- Deep understanding of the fantasy sportsbook & sweepstakes market, and regulatory landscape.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
