Overview
We’re hiring a Senior IP Counsel to lead our global IP program—covering trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and domains. You’ll set strategy, secure registrations, resolve disputes, and ensure our core assets are protected and monetised.
Core Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy
Design annual IP filing and renewal plans by territory, class, and budget
Audit trademark portfolio, identify gaps, and recommend filings
Clearance & Prosecution
Manage trademark searches, legal opinions, and go/no-go decisions
Direct national and Madrid filings, examiner responses, renewals, and recordals
Target ?90% registration success rate
Enforcement & Dispute Resolution
Handle oppositions, cancellations, UDRP/URS, customs seizures, and litigation
Lead settlements and oversee multi-jurisdictional external counsel
Track cost-benefit metrics for enforcement actions
Commercial Support
Draft and negotiate IP clauses in licensing, M&A, distribution, and tech agreements
Advise internal teams (Marketing, Product, R&D, HR) on IP usage
Digital Brand Protection
Monitor domains, app stores, ads, social media, and code repositories
Authorize takedowns via registrars and platforms (e.g., Netcraft, Cloudflare, Google TCRP)
Governance & Reporting
Maintain audit-ready IP docket and live risk dashboards
Provide weekly updates to General Counsel and quarterly IP heat-maps to the Board
Leadership
Mentor enforcement specialists and paralegals
Build SOPs and playbooks; drive process improvements
Required Qualifications:
LL.B./JD with active legal license in at least one jurisdiction
7+ years of IP experience, including global trademark prosecution and disputes
Proven success in oppositions, UDRP/URS, and multi-jurisdictional litigation/settlements
Strong IP contract drafting skills
Fluent in English (additional Asian or EU language is a plus)
Skilled in IP management and monitoring platforms (e.g., Corsearch, MarkMonitor, Red Points)
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets

An understanding of casino games (Live, RNG, platform integrations) is highly desirable, and you must be able to travel frequently—including bi-weekly visits to the company HQ.
