A successful iGaming business is looking to hire within it's Technical Compliance Team.

This is a full time position working on a hybrid basis in great offices on Malta.

The role of Technical Compliance Officer will be responsible for;

 
  • Hold the Internal Audit Key Function for the Group’s MGA licences
  • Coordinate, process, and monitor certification/audit licence obligations for established and new regulated i-gaming markets
  • Conduct routine and surprise internal audits of gaming operations to ensure adherence to online gaming laws and regulations and present findings to the audit and risk committee, ensuring transparency without direct involvement in implementing corrective actions
  • Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally in the regulatory landscape
  • Stay up to date with regulatory development and best practice in compliance control within and outside of the company
  • Identify, document, and increase efficiencies of business processes to align with compliance requirements and comply with regulations in relevant jurisdictions
  • Maintain knowledge and assist in keeping an up-to-date and accurate library/database of regulatory standards and licenses
  • Support regulatory audits and gap analysis sessions and provide management with detailed reports on findings
  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required
Expertise Required;
  • Specific work experience in one or both of the following: Internal/External Auditor and/or Compliance role
  • Experience with auditing standards and/or gaming regulations
  • Analytical skills with a highly developed sense of curiosity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, efficient networker, and collaborative team player
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as Jira and Confluence
  • High-level interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
  • High sense of ownership and desire to improve their skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
A certification in internal audit (CIA) and/or systems audit (CISA) is advantageous.

Reporting to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, the role acts as a key legal advisor to internal teams. Key responsibilities: Legal support: Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, operational, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts  Support corporate governance, internal structuring, and legal documentation. Advise on areas such as gaming law, AML/CFT, data protection, IP, tax, IT, employment, and commercial law. Manage intellectual property (e.g., trademarks and enforcement actions). Conduct legal research and track regulatory changes across jurisdictions. Compliance support: Advise on compliance matters including gaming, AML/CFT, consumer protection, and competition law. Technical Compliance Manager

An established iGaming business is looking to hire a Technical Compliance Manager to support the continued growth of the business. This is a newly created position. Job Description: As a Technical Compliance Manager you will oversee compliance with technical and system-based regulatory requirements across assigned markets. As an ideal candidate you are a proactive self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision and taking ownership of assigned licences. This includes close collaboration with Product Teams to define regulatory requirements, managing certification processes, game and platform testing, RNG and reporting compliance, and ensuring adherence to technical standards and regulator integrations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with solid experience in technical compliance, ideally across several regulated markets. Responsibilities include: Manage all technical compliance matters related to assigned licences (e.g., system certifications, RNG approvals, change management) Oversee submissions to regulators and test labs for certification and approval processes Ensure ongoing compliance with technical standards (e.g., UKGC RTS, MGA TS, DGA/SGA requirements, GGL ISTG, etc.) Liaise with test labs to resolve technical compliance issues Support internal teams with interpretation of technical requirements and integration obligations Maintain documentation and evidence for audits and regulator inspections Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Product, and Development teams to ensure full compliance across deployments Monitor and implement updates to technical standards and reporting schemas Own and manage the technical requirements for new licence launches (gap assessments, integrations, certifications, reporting set up) Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical compliance or regulatory technology roles within online gambling Ideally a bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as law, finance, risk management, information technology or a similar discipline In-depth knowledge of regulatory technical standards and certification processes Experience liaising with test labs (e.g., GLI, eCOGRA, SIQ, BMM, etc.) Proven experience leading the technical requirements for new licence launches (end to end planning and execution) Strong analytical and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage projects across multiple jurisdictions Excellent communication and coordination abilities Self-starter, proactively seeking out areas of non-compliance and driving solutions.
