Compliance Support Officer

 

 Malta | Hybrid | Upt to €35k plus performance bonus

 

We’re working with a professional services environment looking to add a Compliance Support Officer to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with early compliance experience who wants to deepen their exposure across regulatory, AML, and client oversight activities.

 

Your Role

Support the Compliance function across a broad range of regulatory and internal activities, including:

 

  • Assisting with ongoing compliance across AML/CFT, data protection, sanctions, and corporate services regulations
  • Supporting client onboarding and acceptance processes, including KYC/CDD reviews, risk assessments, and source of funds/wealth checks
  • Contributing to ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of client structures to ensure continued compliance
  • Helping plan, track, and document compliance reviews, testing, and internal activities
  • Monitoring follow-ups from internal reviews and identifying potential risks or gaps
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and supporting internal communication of key updates
  • Assisting with preparation of internal reports, regulatory submissions, and compliance documentation
  • Maintaining compliance registers, records, and internal systems
  • Supporting policy updates, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
  • Providing day-to-day guidance to internal teams on compliance-related matters

 

What You Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience in compliance, AML, risk, or regulatory roles
  • Background within corporate services, financial services, or professional services is preferred
  • Understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and general regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • Clear communication skills in English, and Maltese preferred

Risk and Fraud Analyst Location: Malta Salary: €38,000 Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional weekend support)   Overview We are looking for a Risk and Fraud Analyst to join a fast-paced B2C iGaming environment. This role focuses on real-time monitoring of player activity, identifying suspicious behaviour, and preventing bonus abuse and multi-accounting rather than deep payment investigations or banking-style fraud work.   You will work closely with Customer Support and Risk to review accounts, apply restrictions where needed, and make quick, practical decisions that protect the platform while maintaining a smooth player experience.   Key Responsibilities Monitor player activity across the casino and sportsbook to identify irregular patterns, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and affiliate fraud Conduct KYC checks and follow up on verification requirements in line with market standards Apply account limits, restrictions, and closures based on risk indicators Review deposits and withdrawals from a risk perspective, escalating only where necessary (this is not a payments operations role) Analyse gameplay behaviour such as betting patterns, frequency, and game usage to detect manipulation or advantage play Respond to live alerts and operational risk triggers in a timely manner Collaborate daily with Customer Support on account reviews and transaction queries Maintain clear internal records of actions taken and support ongoing risk reporting   An ideal candidate brings Multiple years of experience in Customer Support within iGaming, with hands-on exposure to fraud/risk tasks Strong understanding of bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and player behaviour analysis Comfortable working at a pace, handling volume, and making quick account-level decisions Experience in smaller or mid-sized operators is preferred Practical KYC knowledge and familiarity with common fraud tools Fluent English required; French and Portuguese are a plus Strong Excel and general data handling skills   Nice to Have Exposure to both casino and sportsbook environments Experience with affiliate fraud or gameplay-specific abuse cases (e.g. advantage play patterns)
