We're looking for a passionate and highly numerate Junior Rugby Trader to join a well-established Rugby Desk. Reporting to the Rugby Trading & Operations Manager, you'll price and trade rugby matches across our markets, with support and mentorship from our experienced trading team to help you sharpen your skills.
Day to day, you will:
Research matches in depth, combining strong data analysis with detailed knowledge of teams, players and their individual abilities.
Apply statistical and probability-based methods to build the most accurate prices possible, both pre-match and in-play.
Monitor liabilities and move prices in response to changing circumstances and market conditions.
Trade matches in-running, adjusting prices based on live action and manage online bet requests.
Accurately build and settle markets, keeping errors, mistakes and omissions to a minimum.
WORKING HOURS
Our Clients hours are dictated by the rugby calendar, so you'll need to be happy working a shift pattern that includes early, late and night shifts as well as weekends, to tie in with when live matches take place.
ABOUT YOU
You will:
Hold a strong degree, ideally in a quantitative subject (e.g. maths, statistics, economics, data science or similar).
Have strong data analysis skills and a solid grasp of probability and statistics, with the ability to turn data into accurate prices.
Be passionate about rugby and have in-depth knowledge of teams, players and their abilities.
Be very numerate with a sharp betting/trading brain and a genuine interest in betting markets.
Work to a very high standard and stay calm and accurate in a pressured environment.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-oriented, highly self-motivated, and commercially aware individual with a passion for Online Betting & Gaming to support and optimise operations across multiple African markets.
The Head of Operations will act as a key link between regional teams and central functions (including Product, Payments, Marketing, and Customer Service), ensuring effective execution of operational strategies across markets.
This role is responsible for overseeing multi-market performance, supporting regional teams, and ensuring that local operational needs are aligned with central direction. The position will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, improving performance, and ensuring a consistent customer experience across all markets.
Responsibilities:
Oversee operational performance across multiple African markets, ensuring alignment with commercial and operational KPIs
Work closely with Regional Operations Managers to monitor and improve performance across their respective markets
Analyse data, reports, and market trends to identify opportunities for operational and commercial improvement
Act as a key liaison between local teams and central functions, ensuring effective communication and execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and regional teams to ensure smooth operational flow
Support market entry and exit decisions by providing operational and performance insights
Assist in adapting operations to local market conditions, including payments, infrastructure, and customer behaviour
Collaborate with central teams to support product rollouts, operational initiatives, and campaign execution (non-marketing ownership)
Ensure consistency in operational processes and customer experience across all markets

Requirements:
Experience in online gaming, betting
Experience in operations, commercial, or multi-market roles
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
Strong commercial awareness, with exposure to performance metrics and ideally good P&L understanding
Experience working with data to support decision-making and performance improvement
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple teams and geographies
Willingness and flexibility to occasionally travel across African markets when required
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French (mandatory)
Experience in emerging markets or Africa is beneficial
Exposure to digital/online business models

London-based hybrid role, with office attendance in Piccadilly 3 days/week.

Main Responsibilities:
• Build scalable and reliable ETL processes and data pipelines using multiple data sources.
• Partner with data scientists to deploy models and analytics workflows into production.
• Support the design and maintenance of the company’s data architecture.
• Improve real-time systems, platform stability and ETL reliability.
• Monitor and enhance data quality, performance and scalability.
Desired experience:
• Experience building scalable ETL processes and data pipelines.

· Providing expert advice on specific and complex gaming matters in countries of interest.
· Preparedness to build an in-depth knowledge of online gaming regulations and developments relevant to the activities of Kambi and its existing and potential clients
· Drafting of legal and regulatory analyses and risk assessments.
· Facilitating compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Preparing regulatory, licensing and compliance documents.
· Developing and maintaining relationships with national and international regulatory authorities.
· Producing simple and actionable interpretations of the rules applicable for each business unit.
· Ability to analyse regulatory issues and provide succinct solutions during discussion at Board/Exec level.

Qualifications and skills required:
· Qualified Solicitor (5-6 Years PQE).
