About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a newly established engineering team responsible for developing the next generation of backend services supporting trading, risk, and core platform capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical direction from the beginning, working on both new product development and the evolution of existing enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to design solutions that are scalable, resilient, and built for high-volume production environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET. Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large volumes of real-time data. Develop integrations with internal and external platforms using modern messaging technologies and APIs. Enhance and modernize existing services while maintaining system stability and compatibility. Troubleshoot production issues using monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools. Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices. Improving platform performance, monitoring, and operational resilience across distributed services. Requirements 5+ years of commercial experience developing applications with .NET and C#. Strong background designing scalable distributed systems and microservices. Experience working with event-driven or message-based architectures using technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. Experience building REST APIs and familiarity with gRPC or WebSocket communication. Knowledge of Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS experience is also valuable). Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry. Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative engineering team. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent commercial experience. Nice to Have Experience working in highly regulated or data-intensive industries such as fintech, financial services, payments, or online gaming. Knowledge of automated integration or simulation testing. Experience with GitOps and continuous deployment tools such as Argo CD. Familiarity with actor-based concurrency frameworks such as Akka.NET. Location: Remote – b2b contract  (European Union or Ukraine) An international company within the iGaming sector is looking for a Security Lead to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities.This position combines operational security, governance, compliance, and incident response while working closely with technical and business stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: •    Maintain and improve the Information Security Management System (ISO 27001).  •    Ensure security policies, procedures, and standards remain aligned with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS2, and other relevant frameworks.  •    Coordinate security audits, risk assessments, certification activities, and compliance initiatives.  •    Monitor and manage security events using SIEM and endpoint security platforms.  •    Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of Data Loss Prevention controls.  •    Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents, risks, audit findings, and remediation activities.  •    Lead investigations into cybersecurity incidents such as phishing, unauthorized access, and data exposure.  •    Improve incident response processes, documentation, escalation procedures, and post-incident reviews.  •    Manage endpoint security, identity and access management, and security monitoring tools.  •    Promote security awareness across the business.  •    Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to strengthen security controls. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end integration process, from initial planning through successful go-live and post-launch support. Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, JSON/XML, and software integration concepts. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in an Agile software development environment. Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
