Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Certification in quality auditing or a related field is considered a plus. Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Maintain and develop, including the modification or extension of, the ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065, and ISO/IEC 17021-1 standards within the CAB management system, as well as related accreditation activities. Coordinate and oversee the company’s entire management system, ensuring that all procedures comply with the applicable standards. Coordinate internal and external audit activities and manage relationships with accreditation bodies, consultants, and contracted auditors. Manage non-conformities and implement appropriate corrective actions.

The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building the core systems that power the firm's prediction market trading platform. This company is seeking a Senior Backend Developer who prefers a highly practical engineering role and remains closely involved with production code. The successful candidate will work on backend services supporting a real-time, high-volume platform where speed, resilience, and accuracy are essential. The position is suited to a product-minded engineer who takes ownership, enjoys solving difficult technical problems, and can make a measurable impact on systems operating at scale. It is primarily an individual contributor role rather than a coordination-focused position. Main Responsibilities: Develop and deliver backend features within a cross-functional product team. Write reliable, production-ready code for distributed, high-load systems. Improve latency, scalability, availability, and overall system efficiency. Take ownership of transaction-processing services where accuracy is critical. Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, and engineering standards. Resolve complex technical and business challenges with practical solutions. Join the team’s on-call rotation. Work with engineering, product, and other stakeholders on platform improvements. Desired experience: Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript is preferred. Senior-level experience with Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, or another object-oriented language may also be considered. Strong knowledge of asynchronous and event-driven programming techniques. Practical experience with distributed systems and communication or messaging tools such as Apache Kafka and gRPC. Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with column-oriented platforms such as ClickHouse and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB. Ability to create and maintain effective unit and end-to-end test coverage. A proven history of delivering stable, production-ready software. A Computer Science degree or a qualification in a related technical field.
