The Role: The Systems Administrator is responsible for expert technical support involving installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of physical premises, private and public cloud infrastructures. Responsibilities: Deliver technical support encompassing installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, cabling, connectivity, and hardware/software repairs. Install, support, and maintain data centers and networks according to PA-DSS/PCI Standards on both Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure. Oversee and manage network security tools, such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems. Diagnose, address, and document network connectivity and performance issues. Support VOIP telephones and other network-connected telecommunication devices. Ensure all software is patched, updated, and aligned with the latest releases. Manage network hardware, including UTMs and switches. Regulate user access to sensitive files to bolster internal security. Oversee secure links with public key encryption for VPNs, and monitor IT security incidents and violations. Update and refine hardware, software, and process documentation.
