Our client is currently seeking a Principal Engineer/Platform Architect to take technical ownership of an existing iGaming platform, reshape it, and launch in North America. This role has significant potential for further growth, covering multiple brands, platforms, and teams over time. This is a fully hands on coding role in the beginning. The position can be remote in the US (only) or based in office in Atlanta depending on the candidate’s preference, with a hybrid work model, and relocation assistance if needed.

- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the engineering department, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead the redesign and implementation of a cutting-edge online casino gaming platform, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal user experience.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team over time, initially managing relationships with outsourced resources.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and operations teams for seamless integration and continuous improvement of the gaming platform.
- Stay informed about technological advancements and industry trends, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance the online casino platform.
- Ensure the platform complies with all relevant regulations in the North American online casino industry.
Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience in a hands-on role within the online casino or sports betting industry in North America.
- Must have strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in online gambling & betting platforms and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on delivering solutions that drive business success.
- Experience mentoring or managing team members in an engineering environment.
