Legal and Compliance Senior Officer – Peru (Bilingual Spanish/English)
Salary: Up to 10,000 Peruvian Soles per month (depending on experience)

About the Role:

This opportunity is ideal for a bilingual legal professional seeking to make an impact in a dynamic, fast-growing sector. The position supports the development and enforcement of a robust compliance framework for the Peruvian market. You’ll work across legal, AML, audit, and product functions to ensure adherence to local regulations, all within a collaborative and multicultural team focused on innovation in online entertainment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including NDAs, software licenses, service agreements, and consultancy contracts.
• Deliver timely legal advice on operational and strategic matters affecting the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliant launches of new features, products, and promotions.
• Lead and assist with the implementation of internal policies, compliance controls, and regulatory strategies.
• Monitor license conditions, ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting, and contribute to licensing applications.
• Support the compliance team in enhancing the game portfolio and addressing internal queries on legal issues.

Desired experience:

• Fully fluent in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer with extensive contract drafting expertise.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation and regulatory guidelines within a commercial context.
• Prior exposure to auditors, inspectors, or regulatory authorities is advantageous.
• Experience in the gambling, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors is highly beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Google Suite, Slack, Airtable, and Intercom.
• Portuguese language skills would be a plus.
