Legal & Compliance Senior Officer.

About the Role:

This position calls for a bilingual Legal and Compliance Senior Officer to help establish and maintain a robust compliance framework for online gaming operations across Latin American markets. Based in Bogotá, the role focuses on legal support, risk mitigation, and regulatory engagement, with particular emphasis on Colombian jurisdiction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance with local gaming regulations, especially those enforced by Coljuegos.
• Manage regulatory submissions, license applications, and renewals.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as commercial contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements.
• Deliver practical legal advice to internal departments on day-to-day operations and product launches.
• Monitor and interpret changes in law to ensure continuous compliance.
• Liaise with regulators and manage audits, reporting duties, and other legal inquiries.
• Guide teams on best practices and regulatory obligations through training initiatives.
• Support the compliance department in enhancing the gaming portfolio and developing internal policies.

Desired experience:

• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
• At least seven years of corporate legal experience, with a minimum of five years in contract drafting.
• Solid understanding of Colombian gaming regulations and hands-on experience dealing with Coljuegos.
• Exposure to legal frameworks across various Latin American countries.
• Background in dealing with regulators, auditors, and applying legislation in a business context.
• Working knowledge of compliance tools like Google Suite, Slack, Airtable, and Intercom.
• A keen eye for detail and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with responsible gambling and consumer protection principles.
• Advantageous experience includes industry knowledge in gambling or crypto, and proficiency in Portuguese.
