Location: Remote (ideally based in the UK or Europe)

Role Summary:

A rapidly growing, online casino are looking for a Group Head of Legal to join the team.
You will get hands-on with everything from regulatory strategy to commercial contracts to IP protection.

 

Main Tasks:

Build, lead, and scale the business's legal function across multiple jurisdictions

Develop and implement a proactive global legal and compliance strategy

Navigate complex regulatory landscapes

Advise on commercial deals, partnerships, marketing campaigns, and product launches

Oversee contract negotiation and management processes

Partner with executive leadership to guide risk management and governance

Liaise with external counsel 

Stay obsessively up to date on global regulatory changes, licensing issues, and legal risks

Be a strategic advisor, sounding board, and business partner to all teams
 

Personal Requirements:

8+ years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to fast-growth, regulated industries

Licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (EU, or equivalent)

Deep knowledge of gaming, crypto, or fintech regulatory frameworks

Proven leadership experience — you've built or scaled a legal team before
