The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing complex backend systems that support a large-scale gaming platform. As a senior developer, you'll be a key technical contributor and mentor within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Main Responsibilities: Drive the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems for high-performance applications. Participate in architecture discussions and propose effective design solutions. Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth system integration and cohesive development processes. Manage integration of third-party services to extend backend functionality. Take full ownership of the backend development cycle, including deployments and server operations. Troubleshoot critical production issues to ensure uptime and reliability. Guide and mentor junior developers, supporting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Desired experience: At least 6 years of professional experience in Java, particularly in high-throughput environments. Strong grasp of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, and performance tuning. Demonstrated ability to work in multithreaded environments with effective concurrency handling. Role Overview We are seeking a talented Tier 2 Support Engineer based in New Jersey to join a dynamic team. This is a remote position with an expectation of one office visit per month. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to casino operators (not end players), troubleshoot and resolve issues, and contribute to system setup and configuration. Responsibilities Provide prompt and effective technical assistance to customers (casinos) via phone, email, and chat. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues by analyzing symptoms, diagnosing problems, and offering solutions. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. Educate customers on product functionalities, usage, and best practices. Deliver excellent customer service and ensure satisfactory resolution of technical issues. Lead setup activities, system configurations, and testing. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance and technical support roles, preferably in a software or technology company. Knowledge of computer networks and configurations.
