An established iGaming company is looking to add to the Legal team by hiring a Legal Counsel (UK qualified).
The role:
• Deliver practical, business-focused legal advice across the Group.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial contracts including sales, licensing, distribution, platform, support, and confidentiality agreements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business goals.
• Build strong working relationships with teams across the organisation to deepen your understanding of our business priorities and tailor your legal support accordingly.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategy in line with broader company goals.
• Take part in regular legal team meetings and collaborate on work prioritisation and planning.
• Demonstrate curiosity and agility by learning new areas of law and taking ownership of key portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with internal approvals and risk management frameworks.
• Support the business in identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
• Keep legal colleagues informed of key developments and provide timely updates in regular review sessions.
Requirements:
• 2 – 3 years PQE- UK Qualified Solicitor
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow as part of a supportive, high-performing legal team.

The Company:
This opportunity is with a leading B2C iGaming operator that has been recognized as one of the significant operators in the Brazilian market. They have been operating in Brazil for the past 6 years and their platform provides a variety of casino games alongside sports betting options that allow users to wager on various sporting events.
The Role:
As MLRO you will oversee and ensure the effective implementation of anti-money laundering (AML) procedures within the organization. You will also supervise daily operations, promote compliance with legal obligations, train staff, identify and report suspicious activities, liaise with authorities, and regularly assess and report on AML risks, systems, and effectiveness to senior management.
About You:
You hold a university degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Administration, or a related field, and bring over three years of direct experience in a compliance or AML role within the iGaming industry.
You also have a solid understanding of Brazilian regulations related iGaming, payments, and financial institutions, along with in-depth knowledge of local laws, directives, and standards applicable to AML, KYC, and virtual assets.
You stay up to date with evolving national and international regulatory developments impacting the iGaming environment, and you are fluent in English at an advanced level, both written and spoken.
