Junior Test Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Test Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the testing and evaluation of technology used across the gaming and betting sector.

In this role, you’ll work with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and defined testing procedures to assess software and hardware solutions. You’ll also interact with customers and internal teams, making clear communication and careful documentation an important part of the position.

Your Day-to-Day Work

Testing & Technical Evaluation

  • Review technical specifications and relevant regulatory requirements to understand what needs to be validated.
  • Learn about individual customer requirements and identify any additional testing or evaluation they may request.
  • Investigate applicable standards, special conditions, or market-specific requirements before testing begins.
  • Prepare and carry out appropriate test procedures based on technical specifications and customer needs.
  • Record test activities, results, issues, and defects in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Track assigned work to ensure testing activities stay within agreed schedules and project budgets.
  • Work methodically to ensure that test results are complete, consistent, and technically reliable.

Customer Interaction & Coordination

  • Build constructive, professional working relationships with assigned customers.
  • Develop an understanding of each customer’s requirements, priorities, and position within their market.
  • Keep customers and relevant internal stakeholders informed about testing progress, findings, and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate effectively with different parties when additional information, clarification, or testing requirements arise.
  • Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or another technical discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • An Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline may be considered, together with relevant experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of professional experience, technical training, or industry certifications may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Working knowledge of C++ or another modern object-oriented programming language.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and day-to-day work.
  • Professional fluency in English, including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to accuracy, quality, and deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with both colleagues and external customers.
  • Willingness and ability to complete a comprehensive background screening.

What Will Make You Successful

This is an entry-level engineering position, so we’re not expecting you to know everything from day one. What matters is that you’re technically curious, comfortable learning new requirements, and capable of following a structured approach when investigating how a system behaves.

You should be someone who pays close attention to details, takes documentation seriously, communicates clearly, and is comfortable managing several testing activities against deadlines.

Because the role involves working with customers as well as technical teams, professionalism and the ability to explain information clearly are just as important as your technical foundation.

Senior Python Engineer We’re hiring a Senior Python Engineer to take a leading role in building the backend technology behind a large-scale digital platform. You’ll be responsible for making important technical decisions, developing core services, and ensuring our systems remain fast, dependable, and ready to grow. The position is highly hands-on and suited to an engineer who enjoys taking ownership rather than working within narrowly defined responsibilities. You’ll work across application development, distributed architecture, messaging, data flows, performance, and production operations. Working hours: This position requires substantial overlap with Central European Time (CET ±2 hours). Candidates must be located within this time-zone range. Applications from outside the stated range will not be considered. Your Responsibilities Own backend services throughout their lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to deployment, maintenance, and future improvements. Build and evolve Python/Django services capable of handling substantial traffic and demanding performance requirements. Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems designed for scale, availability, and consistently responsive user experiences. Turn product requirements into production-ready technical solutions while working closely with product, frontend, and infrastructure colleagues. Help raise the engineering standard through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, mentoring, and sharing practical knowledge with less-experienced engineers. Work with key parts of our backend ecosystem, including APIs, Kafka-based messaging, caching mechanisms, and data-processing workflows. Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, with particular attention to throughput, response times, resource usage, and resilience. Establish and maintain effective automated testing across unit, integration, and performance levels. Improve how we develop, deploy, monitor, and operate our software, including logging and system observability. Take part in the engineering on-call rotation and help diagnose and resolve issues affecting production systems. What You Bring At least 8 years of professional experience developing backend systems with Python, including evidence that you’ve owned substantial technical work through to delivery. Practical experience with Django and a good understanding of Python’s asynchronous programming model Hands-on experience operating Apache Kafka in a production environment. A strong understanding of distributed backend architecture, whether gained through microservices or other distributed-system designs. Experience packaging and running applications with Docker; practical Kubernetes knowledge is advantageous. Experience with at least one major cloud platform, with AWS being particularly relevant. Strong SQL/database skills, especially with PostgreSQL. Experience with NoSQL technologies is beneficial. Familiarity with automated delivery pipelines, CI/CD practices, and modern software testing approaches. Experience working with production monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable technologies. The ability to investigate complex technical problems independently and communicate your reasoning clearly during design and code-review discussions. Experience with software platforms serving one million or more users is highly valued. Experience working within Agile development environments. A strong ownership mindset and a focus on delivering dependable, maintainable software rather than simply completing individual tickets. Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
