Main Responsibilities:
This company is looking for a System Engineering Manager to lead its infrastructure operations, ensuring stability and security across hybrid environments. The role involves:

  • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of system engineers and technicians.

  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining on-premise and cloud infrastructures, particularly within AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.).

  • Guaranteeing service availability, scalability, and resilience through proper system architecture.

  • Implementing security and compliance frameworks, as well as reliable backup and recovery strategies.

  • Coordinating large-scale infrastructure updates, cloud integrations, and optimization initiatives.

  • Collaborating closely with development, network, and security teams to improve efficiency and system reliability.

  • Taking part in on-call rotations to maintain continuous service delivery.

Desired Experience:

  • Between 5 and 10 years in system administration and technical team leadership.

  • Expertise in Linux and/or Windows Server management.

  • Proven experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture principles.

  • Deep knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox) and core networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancing).

  • Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Zabbix, or Grafana.

  • Familiarity with IT security standards and data protection strategies.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and communication abilities.

  • Master’s degree in IT, Systems, or Networks, or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to handle incidents, prioritize under pressure, and ensure 24/7 operational continuity.

  • Availability to participate in scheduled on-call duties.
