Sportsbook Operations Senior Manager | Gibraltar (On-site)

Our client is a fast-growing, next-generation sports betting and gaming platform building out its Gibraltar operation. They're a high-performance, fast-moving team with high ownership and a genuine appetite to professionalise how they operate.

They're looking for a Sportsbook Operations Senior Manager to own the operational engine behind their sportsbook supplier ecosystem; building the governance, performance reviews, reporting cadences and incident management processes that keep the sportsbook reliable, responsive and scalable as the business grows.

This is a hands-on operational role, not a distant strategy seat. You'll work closely with Sportsbook Experience, Product, Engineering and Risk, acting as the bridge between internal teams and external suppliers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own operational relationships with key sportsbook suppliers across pricing, trading and data
  • Build supplier governance frameworks, QBR cadences, performance reviews and action tracking
  • Lead supplier incident management end-to-end, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and don't recur
  • Hold third-party suppliers accountable for performance, quality and delivery
  • Improve the processes behind event booking, supplier selection and day-to-day trading operations
  • Use data and reporting to identify supplier trends and operational improvement opportunities
  • Support and guide Gibraltar-based execs as the team grows
  • Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on operations, incidents and supplier performance

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in sportsbook operations, trading or sportsbook management
  • Strong sportsbook industry knowledge; understanding the ecosystem matters more than experience with any one supplier
  • A track record managing operational relationships with third-party sportsbook suppliers or partners (sports, including racing)
  • Experience building or improving governance frameworks, QBRs, reporting structures or supplier performance processes
  • Strong analytical, process-improvement mindset
  • Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to improve reporting and operational efficiency
  • People leadership experience is a plus, not essential
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, happy building structure where it doesn't exist yet
  • Genuine passion for sport and sports betting

Details:

  • Location: Gibraltar, on-site, full-time
  • Working pattern: Shifts between 9am–11pm, Monday–Sunday
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
