Technical Integration Manager

Full remote role - B2B contract

We are looking for a strongly technical Integration Manager with a genuine technical background to lead and coordinate integrations with external partners.

This is not a purely project management or coordination role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with software, APIs, integrations, or development teams and be comfortable understanding technical requirements, investigating integration issues, and having detailed technical conversations with engineers and external technical stakeholders.

You will act as the bridge between our internal engineering teams and external partners, ensuring integrations are technically sound, delivered on time, and successfully launched.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end technical integration lifecycle, from initial technical discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, go-live, and post-launch support.

- Act as the primary technical point of contact between external partners and internal Product, Development, QA, and Operations teams.

- Coordinate multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring technical requirements, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined and managed.

- Lead and facilitate technical discussions around APIs, RESTful services, web services, authentication, data formats, webhooks, and system-to-system integrations

- Work closely with developers and engineering teams to understand technical issues, investigate integration failures, identify root causes, and drive issues through to resolution.

- Translate business and partner requirements into clear technical requirements and integration specifications for development teams.

- Review technical documentation, API specifications, integration flows, and partner documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or potential implementation risks.

- Monitor integration progress, identify technical risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation plans.

- Ensure integration documentation, technical specifications, API documentation, testing requirements, and onboarding materials are complete and up to date.

- Support integration testing and troubleshooting, acting as a technical escalation point between internal teams and external partners.

- Build strong relationships with partners while maintaining the ability to challenge and clarify technical requirements when necessary.

- Drive continuous improvements to integration processes, technical onboarding, documentation, and partner implementation workflows.

Requirements

- Technical Background — Essential

- Strong technical background in software development, systems integration, technical implementation, or a similar engineering-oriented discipline

- Proven experience in Integration Management, Technical Project Management, Technical Implementation, Solutions Engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role.

- Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, web services, JSON/XML, HTTP, authentication, webhooks, and general software integration concepts.

- Ability to read and understand API documentation, technical specifications, data structures, request/response payloads, and integration flows

- Comfortable working directly with software engineers and having technical conversations at implementation level, rather than only coordinating projects.

- Demonstrable ability to analyse technical problems, understand root causes, and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues

- Understanding of software development lifecycles and experience working within Agile development environments

- Ability to translate between **technical and business requirements**, ensuring both internal teams and external partners have a clear understanding of what needs to be delivered.

- Ability to manage external partners while coordinating multiple internal technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to balance technical requirements with commercial and business objectives.

Nice to Have:

- Experience within iGaming, online casino, sports betting, sportsbook, fintech, SaaS, or other B2B technology environments

- Previous experience integrating with **third-party platforms, payment providers, gaming providers, CRM systems, sportsbooks, casino platforms, or other external APIs**.

- Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware, API management tools, CRM systems, and issue-tracking tools.

- Experience working with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, Confluence, or similar technical/project management platforms.

- Basic understanding of programming or scripting concepts and the ability to work with code when required.
