A global iGaming business is growing and looking to hire an experienced Legal Counsel to work out of beautiful offices on Malta on a hybrid working basis. The role will be varied and include;

- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, including technology, data rights, media and advertising, brand licensing & partnerships and software licensing & development contracts.
- Monitoring legal & regulatory developments affecting the International Business, advising stakeholders of such developments and supporting the delivery of any resulting operational change.
- Support with market launches and licence applications, both in Malta and internationally.
- Advising stakeholders on marketing and advertising compliance and the launch of new products.
- Providing legal advice on a wide range of legal matters.
- Serving as a key subject matter expert and strategic advisor to the International Business in relation to legal obligations.
- Working across the business to ensure joined-up thinking with group functions/stakeholders including IP, Disputes, Privacy, Compliance, CoSec, Tax, Finance and Business Development.
- Providing legal training to parts of the business where required and contributing to developing the team’s know-how and precedent bank.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in relation to a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Good understanding of gaming laws and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to clearly explain complex principles in simple plain language.
- Demonstrate excellent commercial acumen and commercial awareness.
- Demonstrate an understanding of commercial realities/priorities of the business and able to give balanced views on risk, adapting approach for the “bigger picture” where necessary.
- Using comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently (with occasional guidance).
- Ability to be able to manage ambiguity and operate effectively even when a scenario is not certain or clear.

- 2-5 years PQE (or similar) ideally in private practice or in-house with a focus on technology / gambling / media / sports.
- Good understanding of the gambling regulatory framework in the UK (knowledge of regulatory frameworks of other territories is a plus).
- Understanding of GDPR and Privacy Laws.

A betting company in the UK is looking for a Senior AFC Analyst to join a growing team.
As a Senior Anti-Financial Crime Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting the business from financial crime risks, whilst also holding a supervisory position within Operational Compliance - supporting the Anti-Financial Crime Team Leaders and working directly with the Key Accounts team.
Responsibilities -
Conducting in-depth EDD reviews on high-risk customers, focusing on Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) validation
Analysing bank statements and supporting documents to identify potential AML, fraud, or AFC risk indicators
Escalating and dealing with escalations around suspicious activity and preparing SAR/STRs in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations
Collaborating and training other AFC team members to strengthen controls and improve processes
Supporting the planning functions to manage the day-to-day operation to ensure BAU tasks are completed efficiently through task list management and organising the team.
Keeping up to date with emerging risk typologies, especially those relevant to online gambling
Interact with customers (inbound and outbound) via calls, chats, and emails
Supporting management on the performance management of the team through upskilling, training, quality checks, coaching and sharing best practice with the wider team.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in AML/EDD, ideally within the online gambling sector.
Strong working knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs) and Gambling Commission guidance

A growing iGaming business on Malta is looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to help ensure their operations meet all legal and regulatory requirements across multiple markets, with a strong focus on the Spanish regulated market.
What you’ll do
Stay up to date with regulatory and legal changes, including AML/CFT requirements
Create, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures
Manage and review the company’s compliance policies and ensure they are followed
Perform internal compliance checks and report findings and improvements
Work closely with Legal, Risk, Customer Support, and Tech teams on regulatory matters
Research and share updates on new or changing regulations
Handle regulatory reporting, filings, and notifications on time
Support MLROs with AML risk assessments, audits, and staff training
What we’re looking for
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Experience working in the Spanish regulated market
At least 3 years of experience in compliance or a related role
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and how to apply them
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

About the Role
A growing B2C iGaming company on Malta is on the lookout for a Finance Executive to join the team. You’ll assist with PSP reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and banking relationships, while still getting hands-on with day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the Head of Finance.
