Pentasia is partnering with a leading gaming and hospitality operator to identify an experienced Director of Events & Promotions. This is a senior marketing leadership opportunity responsible for the strategic development, execution, and performance of promotional campaigns, special events, VIP experiences, and customer engagement initiatives. This position is based on-site in the greater Chicago area and will play a critical role in shaping the property's promotional strategy, guest experience, and overall marketing performance. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team while driving programs designed to increase visitation, customer loyalty, database growth, and revenue performance. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic marketing expertise, operational excellence, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering impactful events and promotions within the gaming, casino, hospitality, or entertainment sectors Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all promotions, special events, and VIP customer programs. Develop short and long-term event and promotional calendars aligned with broader business and marketing objectives. Create initiatives designed to increase visitation frequency, customer acquisition, database growth, guest engagement, and revenue generation. Analyze program effectiveness, customer response, profitability, and market opportunities to optimize future campaigns. Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, expense controls, and resource allocation. Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale events, VIP experiences, entertainment activations, and promotional campaigns. Lead, coach, develop, and mentor management teams and departmental staff. Establish departmental goals, performance standards, operational procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, agencies, and external vendors to develop event and promotional assets. Ensure all promotional activities are executed in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Present recommendations and strategic insights to senior leadership regarding customer engagement, promotional effectiveness, and market opportunities. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify innovative promotional and event concepts. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within marketing, promotions, events, or customer engagement. Minimum 3 years of experience managing casino, gaming, hospitality, entertainment, or loyalty-driven promotional programs. Proven experience planning and executing VIP events and large-scale customer-facing promotions. Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and speaking before large audiences. Strong commercial awareness and analytical capabilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with player loyalty systems, CRM platforms, or customer tracking systems is advantageous. Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and customer engagement technologies is preferred. About the Role Looking for an experienced and commercially minded Media Team Lead to join a growing media function. This is a key leadership position, responsible for managing and developing a team of Media Buyers while driving performance, strengthening partner relationships, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth. The successful candidate will combine strong people leadership with analytical and commercial expertise, using data and market insight to maximise the performance of key media channels. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and develop a team of Media Buyers within a fast-paced environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with external media partners and channels. Use performance data and market insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions. Set clear objectives and motivate the team to achieve and exceed monthly spend and revenue targets. Monitor team and channel performance, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement. Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to improve efficiency, productivity, and commercial outcomes. Encourage a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Requirements At least 4 years' experience in media buying, with a strong understanding of industry trends, performance marketing, and best practices. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management or team leadership position, with demonstrated success in motivating and developing others. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. A degree or relevant qualification in marketing, technology, business, or a related field is desirable but not essential where equivalent professional experience can be demonstrated. Development Team Lead

I am looking for a Development Team Lead, able to join one of my client based in Malta.   The role is fully on-site in Malta. Relocation is provided if needed.   Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and develop the software engineering team, including performance management, goal setting, and regular feedback. - Own the development lifecycle from planning and design through implementation, deployment, and post-release support. - Work closely with the Product Owner and CTO to translate business and technical requirements into clear delivery plans. - Monitor delivery progress, identify and resolve blockers and risks, and provide weekly status/risk reports to the CTO. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, development processes, Agile practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain effective communication across Development, Product, Architecture, DevOps, and other departments.   Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally with complex platforms such as DSPs, tracking systems, attribution platforms, or performance marketing technologies. - 5+ years of experience managing development teams and engineers, including senior developers; formal leadership/team-management training is required. - Proven experience leading teams in multi-system, high-availability environments. - Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including development, QA, release coordination, and post-release support. - Experience working within organizations with distinct Product, Architecture, DevOps, and Development functions. - Strong experience with Agile methodologies and structured delivery frameworks. - Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and risk-management skills. - iGaming or other regulated-industry experience is a strong advantage.
