About this opportunity

You will work closely in teams and with the firm’s partners on tax engagements for various industry groups. Team members will prepare tax returns for businesses, including “C” Corporations, “S” Corporations, Partnerships and Not-for-Profits, as well as for individuals. Tax Accountants will have direct client contact and will identify and communicate tax planning ideas, including tax research, computations and related documentation. More experienced seniors will supervise tax staff, review tax return preparations and provide notes, as appropriate. Supervisors will play a key role in providing performance feedback and coaching while identifying performance improvement opportunities in the preparation and review of client assignments.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or in a related field.
  • A CPA and Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of current experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities, as well as strong technical proficiency.
  • Strict adherence to the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
