Our clients has been successful world wide in delivering revolutionary e-commerce products to a wide range of audience. Due to their continues success they are looking for a Senior BI analyst to be a part of their team in Malaysia


The right person will be combining your domain knowledge and experience of quantitative and statistical methods to ensure that our overall marketing and product strategies become ‘data driven’ and that Sr. Managers and Directors are able to consume the reports and insights needed to align to product key performance indicators.

You will be developing flexible and re-usable reports to better understand product performance and financials by utilising SQL, Tableau and Web Analytics tools which will be used on projects plans and tasks that require understanding of how users use each brand’s website, particularly around the conversion funnel

Senior Business Analyst must be able to combine data from various sources to determine impact and effectiveness of each campaign initiative by collaborating with the Marketing and Ecomms departments to help improve the business’ understanding of the usability of the different brand sites

He/She must be able to advise on AB testing hypotheses and approach given understanding of how website performance and business objectives

You must be able to collaborate with the data warehouse team to ensure data integrity issues are dealt with


  • 3-5 years of solid experience with SQL
  • 3-5 years of solid experience with Tableau using large & complex datasets
  • 3-5 years of solid experience with Web Analytics applications (Webtrekk, Hotjar and other similar tools)
  • Experience defining and measuring business success, quality metrics, standards and reporting 
  • Solid experience with working with large volumes of data in Excel
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems to non-technical senior people simply 
  • Highly articulate in being able to explain and present data and insights
  • Self-confidence to challenge/debate with Senior Managers and Directors on implications of what data suggests 
  • Experience in analysing every aspect of website user experience
  • Understand the fundamentals of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay Per Clicks (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) campaigns
  • Proven experience building models and tools which can be easily re-used/expanded to accommodate future changes
  • Basic understanding of statistics
