Marketing Analyst for Salesforce Marketing Cloud 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and maintain data relationships and contact model within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Perform data import, extract and reporting tasks
  • Write and execute SQL queries and aggregate data
  • Perform data automation for segmentation, reporting and analysis purposes
  • Work closely with Marketing Executive to ensure campaign execution is successful
  • Troubleshoot any data and issues raised
  • Liaise with digital and system integration teams to maintain data integration with Marketing Cloud
  • Liaise with business intelligence team to integrate SFMC reporting extracts into their system and sync resulting data insights to SFMC for audience segmentation
  • Communication development based on campaign briefs
  • Responsive email and template Development
  • Email design optimisation
  • Liaise with creative teams to specify required assets for Email development


  • 1+ years of SFMC experience
  • 2+ years of data and coding experience
  • Advanced SQL skills, CSS, HTML and AMPScript
  • Experience with responsive email development and rendering testing
  • Experience in basic web development
  • Experience with data aggregations, import and extract
  • Knowledge of campaign data concepts, including communication and conversion metrics
  • Experience in data automation processes
  • Experience in platform integration
  • Ability to troubleshoot data and respond to ad hoc requests in dynamic, fast-paced, data driven environment
  • Good Knowledge of communication testing, execution and development concepts on SFMC

Desirable Experience:

  • Javascript
  • Data management experience
  • Proficiency on Guided Template Language (GTL)
  • Experience in CloudPages and SmartCapture
