Our client is a start-up in the esports sector, with the ambition to be the global leader by 2020.
They are recruiting for a Director of Operations to be based at either the HQ in Isle of Man or in their operations centre in Bulgaria.
The role will report to the COO, and is responsible for all aspects of the companies: security, fraud, payments, verfications, customer support and tools for all these areas.
The director will be primarily be responsible for the entire payment cycle from deposits (e.g. available payment options per country, live deposit assistance, player limits, risk tolerance, etc.), through security (e.g. KYC, verifications, fraud, chargebacks, etc.) to withdrawals (e.g. AML compliance) and supporting the customer at every touch point.
Experience in a similar leadership role recruiting and scaling up large, multi-disciplinary teams
Demonstrable and significant experience of, ideally in a gaming, financial service or insurance environment:
End-to-end complexities of payments
Strong understanding of the drivers of security, chargebacks, KYC, fraud, and bonus abuse within an online business
Experience managing global, regulated, compliance-heavy, multi-jurisdictional products
