About the Opportunity:
A leading IP infrastructure management solutions company—whose DNS/DHCP/IP address management software is used to run some of the largest corporate networks in the world—is seeking a U.S.-based Channel Manager with experience building a successful partner ecosystem, and a track record for achieving and exceeding KPI metrics through an effective, fully-integrated channel sales strategy. This network management software company is experiencing rapid sales growth with over 300 customers that include some of the largest and most recognized names in the tech industry. They are now looking to build their partner channels for enterprise sales growth in the U.S. market.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth technology innovator and industry leader in a senior level, high impact, independent contributor role. The Channel Manager will create and sustain new sales by establishing and maintaining relationships with U.S.-based channel partners, forging strategic alliances that will drive achievement of organizational objectives.
This position will work with the VP of Global Partnerships to identify and nurture opportunities within the U.S. to expand the Company’s reach within its target market segments through partner channels, such as VARs, Resellers and Technology partners. In additional to deepening relationships with current partners and influencing new partnerships, the Channel Manager will help develop the partner network, create and sustain newly implemented processes, source and create materials, and provide assets to partners to ensure the success of the program. This role collaborates with other teams within the company to ensure Partner Program success.
Education, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
7+ years of experience in sales, business development, channel marketing and/or partner marketing to include 3+ years of experience and a proven track record as a Channel Manager in the IT sector
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong sales and relationship building skills with excellent partner/channel pipeline development and management skills
Disciplined work ethic and a clear passion and drive for results
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to create new opportunities
Experience with public speaking and proven presentation skills
Ability to convey compelling value propositions and engage/influence technical and non-technical audiences up to C-Suite executives
Existing relationships with VARs and Resellers and IT sector companies
Candidates possessing proficiencies and experience in the following will be prioritized above other candidates:
Understanding of Network IT, DNS, IP Address Management and/or Cloud computing
An MBA or Master’s degree in international business
This role will be work-from-home; travel within the U.S. will be required, as well as occasional international travel.
