This company is searching for a Business Development Manager to be based in Africa, ideally South Africa, Kenya or Tanzania – but they would look at other locations depending on the candidate and what he/she brings to the table. 

This company was established 10 years ago, and today it employs over 140+  full time employees. It is renowned for providing top quality software solutions for the gaming and betting industry, including a platform solution, virtual games, sportsbook, and lotteries. Its unique approach to its customers, combined with its creative software solutions has positioned it as one of the top providers of innovative products for the gaming industry.

This company has identified Africa as a potential growth region. 

You could be living anywhere in Africa, ideally Kenya, Tanzania or South Africa. Initially, the BDM will be employed on a consultancy basis, however, in the longer term, the company has plans to open an office in Africa, and therefore the new BDM could eventually become an employee, managing a small team/office. The person in the role will also manage & develop some existing clients in the region. The role will have a new business focus. 

To be successful in the role candidates will need to have solid business to business sales experience (ideally in the gaming sector), solid knowledge of the gaming sector in Africa (4-5 years’ experience) and networks within the land-based gaming or /and on-line sector. He/she could possibly be working for an operator. Ideally you will currently be promoting a gaming software.
