My client is working on a high-level iGaming platform service which is used by companies of all levels from start-ups to top operators.

At the moment they are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join their team.

Your main task will be:

  • Provide support to customers and the internal team and participate in the 24/7 on-call service delivery roster
  • Produce, research and develop application software on Windows and Linux/UNIX platforms
  • Assess customer feedback and provide internal feedback to project management as appropriate. Raise red flags and follow escalation procedures
  • Ensure that all Service Level Agreement parameters are met at all times and produce incident reports and Root Cause Analysis feedback
  • Ensure technical documentation is provided
  • Help remove technical impediments raised by the team
  • Respect coding best practices and adhere to coding conventions
  • Resolve issues raised via the JIRA system and maintaining issue statuses and reporting to the appropriate project manager, team lead, operations manager or client

Skills you need to have:

  • An IT- related degree
  • Experience in development/support 
  • You are fluent in some or most of the following technologies: MySQL, C#, LINQ, Redis, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies (HTML5 / JavaScript / jQuery / React / SASS / MongoDB)
  • Knowledge and experience using MySQL, IIS backend, or any other backend configuration
  • Knowledge on MVC, .Net, PowerShell, Unix and Atlassian products will be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A fair command of the English language is an important asset!
