My Client in the iGaming industry is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team in Malta!  This position is Hybrid!  Main Responsibilities Monitor production environments and proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues Manage resources effectively, including capacity planning, load balancing, and optimising system utilisation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reporting boards for tracking system health, performance metrics, and incident management Daily monitoring, troubleshooting and upkeep all services to ensure maximum availability Build, install, configure, and maintain systems in both physical and virtual environments Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimise downtime and impact on end-users Ensure compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and reliability Collaborate with development teams to optimise application performance and stability Take part in a rotating on-call schedule Requirements and Qualifications Previous experience as an SRE or similar Strong experience with Linux Proficiency in on-prem server management and monitoring tools Strong knowledge of GitLab pipelines for Java and/or C++ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment Familiarity with databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system monitoring and performance optimization

The position can be fully remote, the role is restricted to those physically located in Europe. The company is unable to offer a work permit for this position at the moment. Only candidates who already have the legal right to work in Spain will be considered. Main responsibilities: Research, learn, and incorporate the latest tools and technologies into our infrastructure. Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure, including the selection of cloud providers, networking, storage, and security configurations. Collaborate with development and support teams to ensure that features and services are designed and implemented with scalability, reliability, and security in mind. Previous experience with application containers (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Swarm, Kubernetes). Knowledge of software version control and revision systems/tools, including Git and Gitlab. Proficiency in configuration automation systems, particularly Ansible.
