VMware & Cloud Engineer .

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude in virtual system administration. As a VMware Engineer, you will collaborate closely with operational leads to ensure that the infrastructure needs of all cloud-oriented business units are met. The successful candidate will be measured by their ability to maintain current systems, deploy new environments, and provide support to customers.

Main responsibilities

• Provide 3rd level support for public, private, and hybrid cloud customers
• Ensure daily technical operations and resolve service requests
• Proactively monitor, identify, and resolve system issues
• Participate in provisioning new environments and capabilities
• Provide internal and external customer service and support

Desired experience and skillset

• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Understanding of basic cloud methodologies and virtualized infrastructures
• Experience working with VMware
• Moderate knowledge of networking principles
• Experience working with VMware 
• Experience with backup software, preferably Veeam
• Experience with replication software, preferably Zerto
• VMware vCloud Director experience
• Knowledge of storage systems
