Software Engineering Manager.

Engineering Manager needed to drive growth of growing iGaming provider

 

• Work alongside the CTO to oversee the formation of policies, procedures, shaping of technical vision and growth/mentorship of the Java/React development team 

 

Your Day to Day:

• Lead a team of 10 Java and React developers, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Work together with the Product team to plan and execute the technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to best understand requirements, support with technical guidance, and ensure effective consensus.
• Mentor the team, developing an innovative, collaborative culture. 
• Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. 
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the engineering team.
• Prepare regular reports on team performance, project status, and technical achievements, presenting them to the CTO and other stakeholders as required.

Qualifications:

• 5+  years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role, preferably in the iGaming industry.
• Expertise in Java and React, along with a strong grasp of modern development practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of developers.
• Demonstrated experience in defining and executing technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives, while considering scalability, performance, and user experience.
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and drive projects to successful completion within deadlines.
